| Microsoft Enterprise Technologies Architect Location: St. John's Newfoundland Contract: 130 Days Estimated Start Date: October 1, 2010 Estimated End Date: March 31, 2011 Our client is seeking the services of a Microsoft Enterprise Technologies Architect to engineer, design, scope and plan an Enterprise Framework for the implementation and deployment of Microsoft technologies. The Architect will work as part of our clients’ Enterprise Architecture Group. He/she will be responsible for providing sound and proven architectural guidance to the client in environments involving interoperability and migration between multiple Active Directory forests, as well as integration of distributed systems. The successful candidate must stay current and ensure that the client is educated on trends, industry issues, complementary technologies, and Microsoft's direction related to enterprise technologies such as Active Directory, Server Technologies (Exchange, Communications, Sharepoint, SQL, Biztalk, Windows and others) and Desktop Infrastructure. Job Requirements: The successful candidate for this assignment will be a resource with the following qualifications: At least 8 years of experience in Active Directory, 5+ years of design experience At least 8 years of experience in Exchange Server, 5+ years of design experience At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint Server, 3+ years of design experience At least 5 years of experience in Unified Communications Server, 3+ years of design experience MCSE/MCSA Microsoft Certifications Proven documentation experience (may be required to provide samples) Proven scoping projects experience (may be required to provide samples) Strong communications skills (written and oral). Good interpersonal skills Resource Technical Qualifications: Specific skills and experience required include, but are not limited to the following. Please state years of experience and nature of work done in each area below. Deep technical understanding required of the following: FIM (Forefront Identity Manager), ILM (Identity Lifecycle Manager), ADRMS (Active Directory Rights Management Services) SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)/SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)/VMM (Virtual Machine Manager)/DPM (Data Protection Manager) MDOP (Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack)/APP-V (Application Virtualization), Windows 7 - deployment and management. Required: Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Server Upgrading Active Directory from 2000/2003 to 2008 Cross forest migrations and consolidations Migrations from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007/2010 Configuring mail, calendar, and contact interoperability between separate organizations involving multiple forests Experience designing large enterprise deployments of Microsoft Solutions with multiple geographical locations Experience with mail archiving solutions Reverse proxy solutions such as ISA Server and Threat Management Gateway, as well as network load balancers Experience with clustering and other high-availability technologies Microsoft Technology, Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Exchange, SharePoint, etc. Microsoft SQL Server Experience with Windows 7 desktop organization deployment Experience with file and folder encryption technologies including BitLocker.
